Questionhow do you turn the thing on?where is the "on" button?

- Answer plug it in and a blue light will flash. Inside that blue light button is an on switch. I found this out on You Tube. Someone was nice enough to video her unpacking of a new one.

- Answer Yes, on side is flat and tje other is fluffy. The flat side is for scrubbing the other side is more efficient for everyday maintenance.

- Answer The pads that come with it are washable, if my floors are really dirty I just hand wash in the sink and wring them out pretty dry and use them to continue mopping and then machine wash them. I love my shark.

- Answer Instructions recommended only water. Probably should even use distilled water if you want it to last. Other liquids/hard water would clog internal pieces.
