“I want to be able to input LESS than a minute many times. Can I, say, set for just 10 or 20 seconds at a time? My old Sharp is very handy in that way. Many times I just want to warm up a drink and don't want a minute or more.”

Press "Time Cook" then number of seconds.That's how I do it.
