“Is mounting the same as the Sharp Carousel II Model R-1821? The microwave oven I am replacing is a Carousel II Over the Range Convection Microwave Oven. Model number is R-1821. Will this one mount on the same brackets? Thanks.”

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Sharp R-1821 Microwave Oven. At this time we are not manufacturing any current over the range microwaves that use the same mounting plate. The Sharp R-1821 microwave oven’s external dimensions are 29 7/8” x 16 ½” x 13 ½” (Width x Height x Depth) and is a 1.1 cubic foot model. Currently the only 1.1 cubic foot over the range microwave being manufactured is the R-1871 with external dimensions of 29 15/16” x 16 11/32” x 15 9/32 (Width x Height x Depth).
