    • Answer Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to assist you. The Sharp SMD2489ES microwave drawer requires its own dedicated, grounded circuit. It must be connected to a 120-volt, 60 Hz, 15-amp or higher circuit breaker. Using a separate, dedicated circuit is necessary to prevent tripping breakers, as it ensures the appliance has sufficient power for operation.
