• The TV has excellent video characteristics as most sports broadcasts are in high definition. The Sharp TV will do very well.

• I have not tried that, but based upon the performance so far I do not see why it would not perform well. I liked it enough I bought another one

• The picture quality is great both in broadcast 720 and 1080p. Just make sure you have a good over the air antennae and you'll be fine.
