I don't know if someone will come to install it. My TV is connected to my DVD/VCR player, so I already had cables that go from that machine to the TV. I also run my TV off a wireless antenna (I don't have cable). If you have cable, it might be easier to install. My point is, you may need to purchase an inexpensive cable to connect the TV to your VCR, etc. If you have any grandchildren or family members you can call, I guarantee you they will know how to install it for you because it isn't complicated. If you don't have wireless in your home and have no interest in viewing Netflix through the TV, you may be able to save a few dollars by going with a TV that has all of the same features but it isn't "Smart" -- that is what increases the price a bit. The box will arrive very quickly and fortunately the TV is so light -- anyone can pick it up. Good luck. I know I haven't answered your questions, but I just want to encourage you to call a friend or family member if the store people won't do it.
