Since we are thinking about purchasing this tv I copied & paste the model and found this. Looked through the quick start and the regular manual, great info. in it.
A:AnswerInstead of zoom which is usually used to make the picture fit the full screen you change change the view mode. So that is something you can choose, as I have done. Also when you choose a zoom mode you lose a large part of the picture.
A:AnswerYes, that is why I purchased it. Exclusively for Over the Air broadcasts. I use a small antenna and apple tv on it and it is better than cable!
