How do you get closed captioning? null

I don't see any option for this on the TV itself. I have DIRECTTV which I believe has a way to close caption.

I believe there was a setting i saw during looking thru the menu options

Hello, we will be more than happy to advise. Firstly close caption must be available from the source. In order to access this, go into the TV Menu, option and caption settings.
