You can use it with only wifi or broadcast HD.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you don't have cable or satellite you have a few other options. My son watches HULU and NETFLIX and AMAZON PRIME VIDEO on his TV! Other than that, the only other way would be to get one of those antennae things where you can get local channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has Roku, so you can download apps that let you watch shows, such as Netflix. There are news channel apps that let you watch CBS and a few others. As far as I can tell, I don't think there are any apps that let you watch live TV.
