I talked with Sharp rep and he said all works except the numbers. I needed a universal remote for my elderly parent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO. You MUST use a Roku remote; in fact use that remote for that particular TV to program if you want to setup your own "programmable" remote. There are a number of manufacturers selling ROKU TVs and each use different remote coding and frequencies.

Us mere mortals simply use the included remote that has all of 5 buttons and allows one to effortlessly scroll through all the channels right on the screen and select the one we want. If you have it connected to your Satellite system you will likely use the Satellite Remote as it has a thousand buttons you need to have handy. What a mess....of course that kind of indicates that YEA....you can find a universal remote that will do the same thing.
