I found out after the fact that it is only a 720 resolution. I did not see that in the write up when I ordered it. i am disappointed with the picture quality too. If I had realized it would be less than satisfactory, I definitely would have spent more money. I was limited for the size I needed so that was my focus, getting a 32 inch TV. My Best Buy store has marked this model down to only $99. 00 now, even less than what I paid. It is not convenient to return it so I am making do. It sounds like your picture is worse than mine...I would return it and buy one that is higher resolution. Hope this helps.
