Sharp TVs' have ports to hook up soundbars and external speakers. I've got a Visio on my 55" Sharp, but I was surprised (pleasantly) that I did not need one on this model. You have the choice of RCA jacks or (my choice) the optical sound cable. This gives the best sound quality when hooked up to a sound bar.
