“I just bought my TV and got it all set up. In the 2 hours it’s been set up The picture goes black and then comes back, then does it again, then it seems ok for a bit. It’s happened about 10 times in multiple apps now. What’s happening?”

Go to settings and then choose Dynamic Contrast. Dynamic Contrast adjusts the backlighting for the entire screen depending on the brightness of the picture that is being shown, it will adjust the backlight of the screen to enhance the contrast of the colors. This can be changed to high, low, or off. Hope this helps.
