“I purchased the Sharp LC-55LBU591U from Best Buy and have had good luck with it, but today I went to turn it on and it is just a black screen. Can hear it power on and off, but totally black. Please help.”

• Put a light against the screen and move it around. If u can see a picture your back light is out. About $125 part and $175 labor. Better off getting a new one.
