Backlight strips are probably bad. Pretty easy fix just involves alot of disassembly. Strips can be found on eBay for around 50.00. You will need a set of 5. Once repaired go into settings and turn the backlight down to around 65%. Out of the box they come with the backlight set to 100 and this burns them out prematurely. youtube the repair with the model tv there is a guy who replaced them step by step so you can decide weather to fix or not.
