“I'm not very tech savvy but I just bought the 58 inch sharp 4k uhd TV and I'm not Shure about the 4k, is it already in 4k from the start? When I hit the ok button it says its in 1080, any help would be appreciated.”

• The default picture is 1080 because most programming is 1080 if your on satellite or cable. In order to view 4k or HD, your programming must be sent to you in 4k or HD. For instance, I have Netflix, and for a small extra fee on your monthly bill, they will broadcast or stream a few movies in 4k and HD.
