yes, this TV has HDR10 and displays it properly and looks fantastic, but you need HDR content to see the difference. don't believe "dave", he comments on many tv's and lies about the HDR capabilities. My guess is he works for a competitor so he spreads false information. I've come across his lies on multiple tv's during my search. Best buy unfortunately lists wrong information as well sometimes, always best to google the model number and look up the info from the manufacturer's site.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sharp's website confirms the display has HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had this TV for 5 days no HDR been looking for it picture quality is not all that not even that clear I thought it was because of the size. I want to take it back to best buy but its mounted on the wall and I have no help to take it down. Plus I paid $80 more 5 days ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These TVs will accept a 10-bit HDR signal but are unable to display it properly, either using only 8-bit video processing internally or having standard backlights with 10-bit panels, not the technology that allows a true HDR picture to be enjoyed. While part of HDR's cleverness is that the HDR information can "scale" to any level of display performance, high or low, the message is clear. Don't buy an HDR-compatible or HDR-ready television thinking that you'll be getting HDR performance. You probably won't.
