• It is the same squared off optical fitting, I believe it’s universal. I actually had connected it via Optical at first but then switched to HDMI eARC, which I highly recommend to get full Dolby Atmos or DTS. The Sharp has 4 HDMI ports so plenty of openings

• Hello, yes, the TV has a round optical fitting, and this is the only optical connection.
