Does this unit help clean COVID in the air? null

no, I doubt it. There is nothing inside related to 'Plasmacluster' to kill anything. No UV/Ozone etc. The particulate filter might engage aerosols but that isn't the entire story. Interestingly, I seen dental offices using this type of filter during COVID. I get a warm feeling, but don't think there is any evidence that this reduced spread. It could, inadvertently lead to increased distribution, if the filter draws contaminated air past an uninfected person :(
