Thank you for your interest in the LC60LE835U Sharp television. The 120Hz feature doubles the number of frames per second from 60 Hz to 120Hz for improved fast-motion picture quality. AquoMotion 240 Technology improves fast moving images by combining Sharp's 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced Technology with 120-backlight scanning. The backlight scanning works with the panel refresh rate to further reduce perceived motion blur and improve overall clarity and picture quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bigger u go in screen size is when u will start to notice it. The bigger the screen the higher the refresh rate needed to make a clear picture without the blur effect. Also if your big into gaming i suggest the 240hz because u wont have the lag time as with the lower refresh rate of 120hz. Im going to say anything over 50" it wouldnt hurt to have the larger refresh rate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not viewed the 120 Hz 60" TV. However I did see it on the 120 Hz 70" while watching King King in the store. The fast motion caused several scenes to look grainy to the point where I would not buy it. I bought the 240 Hz 60", and it is spectacular so far. I have also not seen the 240 Hz 70" to compare. Not extremely helpful I know but the difference scared me enough to buy the higher refresh rate.
