A: Thank you for your interest in the LC60LE835U Sharp television. The 120Hz feature doubles the number of frames per second from 60 Hz to 120Hz for improved fast-motion picture quality. AquoMotion 240 Technology improves fast moving images by combining Sharp's 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced Technology with 120-backlight scanning. The backlight scanning works with the panel refresh rate to further reduce perceived motion blur and improve overall clarity and picture quality.

A: Great question! For the LC60LE835U, the AquoMotion240 can be turned off in the Advanced Settings under the Motion Enhancement of the TVs menu.
