“Is there a way to turn off the "smooth motion" effect? When watching Blu ray movies the Smooth motion or "soap opera effect" makes the picture extremely awkward and difficult to get used to. Is there a way to turn the effect off?”

• Excellent question! The Motion Enhancement feature can be disabled under the ADVANCED PICTURE menu of the television. Please see page 28 of your owner’s manual for the in depth instructions.

• It's easy! Go to Picture settings, Go to Advanced and turn off Motion Enhancement, and go down to Film Mode and turn it off! Hope that helps! Take care!
