14x24 theater room with three tiers of seating. Not one bad seat in the room with this awesome tv. Clarity is superior. Easy to program and set up. Best tv for the price in its size classification. Searched thru many brands and sizes. Always came back to this unit. No regrets what so ever. Don't even 2nd guess this tv. You will be extremely happy with this professional movie ready screen. Only one warning. This creates an addiction. Hard to leave once you turn it on. You will spend a whole day and evening watching.

this tv is great for the size and quality of picture but if you are used to a plasma, it takes some getting used to the decrease in hertz that shows more movement and appears as if you are watching a fake show. once you get used to it, it's worth it in the end.

I was able to talk my wife into replacing are still very good running Samsung 72" DLP under the condition that it get mounted on the wall with no wires showing. No problem for me. It has completely changed are living room. With this big screen on the wall we no longer have that big Sammy taking up space. And of course the TV is just fantastic. If there was one complaint it would be it puts out a lot of light. Also you should go on the AVS forums and check for some picture settings because it can cause some programming to have the soap opera affect. But I love this TV, Best Buy gave me an excellent price and I am good to go for what I hope is a long time. And if there was something better I am sure I could find a place for it somewhere. What room can't benefit from an 80" HDTV.

Great TV, wonderful picture and colors. But it didn't come that way out of the box. Need to adjust settings manually to acheive best results. There are several good setting recomendations on the internet if you google it. Glad I didn't pay extra to get the 240HZ version, because I actually had to turn that feature off to get a good picture. Otherwise movies, even Blu-rays, look like home made videos. Once set though, WOW, what a nice picture.

We couldn't be happier with this set. The image is gorgeous and the features are plentiful and easy to navigate. Also very happy with the Geek Squad installers who had the thing in place in under 2 hours on a swiveling wall mount. We aren't using the internal speakers, as we have a home theater surround system, but I did listen to it once or twice and the sound is certainly fair to good for monitor speakers. The wall mount gives us the option of angling the set more towards the dining room or the living room and the set moves easily yet feels substantial enough to be comfortable with moving it.

Great tv for the money, It is literally a wall. We put it in a larger room and it looks great. It catches people off guard when they see it and they cannot believe the size. Can't wait for the Super Bowl!! The picture is nice for the size but you have to realize that when you go this big, not everything is going to be crystal clear. I guess it depends on what the station is broadcasting in because some stations are better than others. Sound is not the best but if you are buying a tv like this, you should have a home theater system. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I waffled on buying this for a while because I already had the Sharp Aquos Quattron 60", but I'm glad I finally took the leap. I bought the lower end non-Quattron version of this 80" tv but I don't feel as if I compromised at all. The picture is incredible and watching movies with the blu-ray is flat out the best viewing experience ever. I paired it with DirectTV and the HD channels are absolutely amazing. It makes even watching a regular series feel like you're at the movies. I will never go to the movies again.

Amazing contrast and high number of pixels, displays darks well, definitely pulls the attention in the room with its size!

This wasn't the tv I wanted. I thought it was to big and a waste of money! Boy do I have to say, "I was wrong!" This tv is great for our movie nights and even better for all the sporting events we all love to watch! I can't imagen watching tv on anything else!

Ease of operation, sharpness of picture. The compliments we receive from our guest has been outstanding.

This TV has a FANTASIC picture, especially on any HD channels. Sometimes almost looks like a 3D set. Setup is simple and quick Replaced a Sony HD 55 inch. Differance is unreal in the picture. Have this set in our bedroom about 12 or 14 feet from the head of the bed. It's just wonderful for all shows, Sports, Movies, DVDS Etc. The one and only draw back is the sound quality. I wish it had better speakers. Could add a soundbar I suppose.

This is my 2nd purchase of the Sharp Aquos led tv, my first was the 60" Aquos led for my living room, & I loved tha look of the black gloss screen it blends so well with the black tv stand & all my black accessories(PS3 Xbox 360, receivers ect.) & the picture quality is absolutely amazing. I then saw the 80" Aquos @ #Bestbuy & feel in love, I had to have it. And as faith would have it, the t.v was marked down $500 so I purchased it & had it delivered & installed by the #geek squad(u guys r the best) in my living room, which moved the 60" into my bedroom. So long story short, movie nite & sporting events are always seen at my home because of the amazing size & picture quality... Thanks #Sharp

This 80 inch Sharp tv has a very nice "sharp" picture. The color is very natural. The picture is also bright and looks three dimensional. If we turn the lights off while watching a movie and turn on the sound bar, it is like sitting in a private theater. Although we purchased a sound bar, the tv sounds decent without it. We are extremely pleased with our new 80 inch tv.

I love it!!!! I thought it would be too big for the family room, but it is not, they recommended that you have at least 10' distance from the tv to the couch and we have 14' and it is just perfect.

Great TV for media room or man-cave but I would not recommend it be used as the primary household TV. I would spend the extra $1K to get the 240hz version. I have to keep it in dynamic picture mode because of the faint color balance.

I think overall this is a great TV. The price is a high, but what would you expect from a TV this big. It views very nicely. One of the drawbacks was the smart tv functions. It doesn't have HULU and you can't download new apps. I would think the smart function would be a lot better. If you are looking for a TV with better smart options I would go with Samsung. Other than that I think it is a decent TV.

The Sharp Aquos 80" is every bit as good as the Sony Bravia 52" that it replaced. Pleased that no picture quality was lost when the size increased. Love it!

This tv is used for watching movies and my kids play video games on it. We are very pleased with the picture quality. We also have a surround sound which really makes for a theater like experience.

I bought this TV from my local BB and the picture is excellent. It's so clear and crisp with brilliant color even at 80 inches. I don't want to watch my other tv because this one looks so good.

Great TV for watching events. Make sure you have the space for it as it is large but that adds to the enjoyment of viewing.
