The TQ and the SQ are very similar. The biggest difference is the frame of the TQ metal all the way around, whereas the frame of the SQ is hard plastic. Also, the TQ has higher class built in speakers. But if you have a sound system, that really doesn't matter.

The differences between these models are that the LC70SQ15U features two 10W speakers and the bezel is made of plastic. The LC70TQ15U features two 10W speakers and a 15W subwoofer and the bezel is made of aluminum. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SQ is 73 pounds and TQ is 93 pounds. Difference is due to TQ has a 15 watts subwoofer and 2 10 watts speakers. SQ only has 2 10 watts speakers. TQ has an alumunium benzel and SQ has plastic. That's pretty much the differences.
