• It is recommended to NOT connect to an extension cord. However, if you intend to do so, it would be wise to use either a fused-surge power strip or an air conditioner "short " 6' extension cord. This guarantees the right mil thickness of the copper wire to carry the required high electric current.

• Hello, we do not recommend using an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.
