• Hello, the sensor feature uses humidity from the food to determine the cook time and also controls the power level to determine the correct cook time for the food.

• The sensor works by sensing the moisture coming out of the food and automatically adjusting the cooking time based on that. For me it works great, and my food is heated to an optimal temperature without ever drying out.
