• Yes. The carousel plate is removable for cleaning. However, the diameter of your rectangle dish may not be able to turn around in oven and this microwave doesn’t have turntable stop option.

• Make sure you use a dish that fits on the turntable. This one won't take a 9x13 pan, but a 9x9 fits. I've never had a microwave without a turntable- makes for even heating.

• Hello, If you remove the turntable, you will get poor cooking results. Dishes used in your oven must fit on the turntable.
