• No. It uses 115v AC and cannot be plugged into a 220v receptacle. The plug is different anyway so it's impossible to make that mistake.

• There should be an answer to that in the warning area of the instructions. If not, I would call the company directly. That is nothing you want to do guess work at, it could cause a big problem if it is not universal.
