• This model is certified by the State of California as safe for indoor use. It does not produce ozone. Search for California Certified Air Cleaning Devices.

• They say no on the site, but on the box it states... "under normal legal limits." My best guess is yes but not enough to be unhealthy if you're picky about it like I am... still I'd go with a better purifier. Still trying to find the right one myself.
