• There's no built in speakers. There's little USB rechargeable PILL speakers you can find at a supermarket for $15 that have a line-in might work with an audio adapter; haven't tried it yet.

• It has small speakers built into the cabinet. No additional speakers are needed unless you intend to send the output from the headphone jack to another amplifier.
