Quite the opposite, actually. You won't disturb anyone who isn't of extraordinary hearing with these at a comfortable listening volume. They send the sound directly into your bones rather than moving air into your ear.

Unless you have them quite quiet your not going to beable to hear the world. Ps do not buy i returned them the next day because if you have even 1% sweat you will get electricuted. I know because thats what happened to me and i was dizzy for a few days and seekng blurry
