The answer is still yes..it has the ability to learn the frequencies from your dish remote control if youre looking to reduce the amount of controllers. You aim the dish remote at the sideclick thing and follow the directions..

Yes, as long as you have an extra hdmi slot on your TV. Dish has an hdmi output and firestick has an hdmi output so your tv needs 2 inputs or you have to manually change it if you only one hdmi input on your TV. Use the source button on your tv control not the firestick control to change from dish to firestick if you do have 2 inputs..they are seperate entities. They work separatly not together. So Yes it will work.
