“I'm interested in this lens for it's low light capability. But I'm wondering if there would be a large shadow in the frame when I use the flash. Since my camera is a d3300 and the lens seems a little big. Thanks!”

Did you buy your Nikon D3300 with the Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens? When using your built in camera flash now do experience any problems with a shadow in the frame? You may want to purchase a Nikon flash to sit in the hot shoe on top of the camera or even a flash bracket for the new flash unit. The only way to know for sure is to try it with a lens attached. Nikon may be able to offer some technical support and information. Check the actual length of the lens you are currently using and also check the length of the Sigma lens to see how much difference there is. If there is a good camera store near you they may be able to help with attaching a lens and you can try it out. Good Luck!!!!
