• Ye4s, there is an audible alarm, however, whether or not you hear it depends on where you locate the tower. If it's too far away and your door is closed, you may not realize the alarm is going off.

• Yes, it makes an audible alarm, and placing the base in or near the bedroom will assure you wake.
