• The exterior camera typically records when it senses motion (depending on the settings selected within the App). But, you can access the mobile application (with any internet connection) and both view the camera and begin recording. The mobile app will also let you speak through the camera (if you choose).

• It needs motion if you are not monitoring it constantly but you can also manually record if you want to
