I bought this for my son's University apartment. Partly, I wanted him to try it out to see if we wanted to replace our home system with SimpliSafe. In the first week, there was an unscheduled maintenance visit that generated calls to my son and then to me. Everything worked as you would expect. SimpliSafe was recommended to me from a co-worker who also had immediate contact from SimpliSafe when her house was broken into.
