• Unplugging it would be your best option if you don't want it recording. It uses a phone charger type USB for power so unplugged it will not transmit. And the cord is easily removable at will from the outlet or the back of the camera. There's a slide channel USB connector that "locks" it in securely. Slides out but tensioned so you don't accidentally disconnect.
