It’s really designed the other way around. You can set it to a temp, and it notifies you if it goes over, like with AC. However, being it is Bluetooth and runs on a 2032 lozenge battery, I don’t know if the signal will penetrate the steel case, or if it will work at zero degrees. I don’t think so. Try calling the SimpliSafe help line.
