• Just as a reminder, this Temperature Sensor is a component for the complete SimpliSafe, so you do need to add it to an existing alarm system. The component works by generating an audible local alarm for both a high temp threshold, and a low temp. If your system is connected to the SimpliSafe app, you'll also be able to get push notifications. For SMS text or email notifications, you do need to subscribe to Interactive Monitoring.
