“I am having a single wall oven installed under a counter top and between 2 KraftMaid cabinets. KraftMaid recommends a heat shield for the oven since the temperature, especially during cleaning cycles, get very high. Can this be done?”

• Anything out of the basic ordinary install, forget Best Buy. Go elsewhere where you can talk with a knowledgeable representative. This does not exist at Best Buy! Had a terrible experience.

• Yes but I never use cleaning cycles as they damage the oven itself

• I would check with the installer to make sure they know of the Kraft Maid recommendation. It may involve extra parts being ordered and, of course, probably an extra charge
