Nope, it's hard wired a not portable. You cant move it easily like the other units. Call sirius though and get on a family plan. I think it was like 4 dollars and some change to add another unit. Be ready to negotiate...they will try and put you on a full priced package, but negotiate with them and you will get a good price.
