A:Answer The only thing I can figure is the weather, car washes, etc. causes the antenna to age. The wiring and connectors slowly break down and cause the signal to break down and not make it to the unit. Ive found that after 2-3 years its better to replace it and move on. If you buy a car that comes with Sirus this would not be an issue.
