“Does the unit need to play through a radio or can it play through just speakers with aux plug in”

• The Onyx EZ comes with all the vehicle accessories to play it in your car with the FM transmitter or with an AUX cable. But when docked in both the car kit or a home kit you can purchase, you can plug in speakers or head phones in the AUX-in port.

• It will play through just speakers. That's the way mine is hooked up.

• Unit can be set-up either way depending on how new of a vehicle you own.
