- Answer The Onyx EZ comes with all the vehicle accessories to play it in your car with the FM transmitter or with an AUX cable. But when docked in both the car kit or a home kit you can purchase, you can plug in speakers or head phones in the AUX-in port.

QuestionWhat is a good replacement (update) XM for one as described below?I have an after market XM that has a cassette and plays directly through the speakers. I recently purchased another car that has a CD player and no cassette. I do not want to purchase another XM device that plays only via tuning a radio channel because they seem to lack clarity and continuously need re-tuning. Will this device play directly through the speakers and how difficult is it to install?

- Answer Your best options are to either use an AUX cable if you have an AUX port in your car. If not and your concern is around the FM transmitter, your best option is to purchase an FM direct adapter that, when connected to the back of your stereo and your XM radio powered on, it overrides your FM channels giving you better sound quality without having to find a static station. This accessory can be found and Best Buy and is best installed by their team.

- Answer The part number you listed is an old XM car dock. If you are just looking for a new car dock or kit, you need sku 9015011 - the SiriusXM interoperable Vehicle Kit. But if you are looking for a new radio for your car that comes with a car kit, the Onyx EZ, SKU: 1489797 would work.

Questionwill this unit replace my current in-dash radio, meaning will I be able to toggle between XM and regular radio on this device?I have a vehicle that came with XM radio built in. We will be selling that car and our other car is a 2005 Mazda with just standard radio. Will this eliminate my having to use the standard radio in the car or will I be able to use both and will I be able to simply transfer the existing subscription to the Mazda through XM? Thanks.

- Answer Evidently you have a lot of movement where your antenna is mounted. I doubt you can repair it unless you are extremely patient, meticulous, and very knowledgeable about wire splicing.

- Answer Could not be simpler- power module in "cigarette lighter", antenna connector, and FM wireless connectivity or wire headphone jack connection. For those with a cassette player in the car (!) that type of adapter is available and has worked well.
