It means its an accessory for an existing siriusxm docking style radio... Take it out of your truck and put it on a boombox or in your home

You need to purchase the radio. Sirrus XM is the one I purchased.

The only negative thing I will say is that the Dock is too long. I know you would lose some stereo sound effect, but if it was shorter, I would like it better. Other than that the Dock is great.
