• A:Answer I just swapped the radio in my 2016 JKU Sahara. I had to buy an adapter for $10 that allowed me to use the factory antenna. If you’ve got a factory system with satellite radio, you don’t need this. This device is only for aftermarket satellite ready receivers. If you haven’t swapped radios yet, check out the Pioneer 1330NEX. Older model so it’s cheaper than the newer 1550NEX. This device works with it and in the Jeep, the 1550NEX harness is a perfect match. Add the pioneer backup camera and you’ve got a great system. I know my Alpine factory system is 10x louder and crisper with the Pioneer. Can’t believe the sound quality.

• A:Answer I used an Shakespeare Galaxy SRA-50 which is an outdoor Sirus XM satellite antenna which works great. I didn’t use the antenna that came with the Sirus tuner. This SRA-50 antenna plugs right in and is very sleek, ultra low-profile ( looks like a white mushroom but bigger) but looks great. I’m sure there are other antennas, but I have been always happy with Shakespeare. Hope this helps. Bill

• A:Answer Not sure. I bought a new Sony stereo that was satellite receiver ready meaning on the back of it there were plugins for my new Sirius receiver. So you would have to look on the back of the receiver and see if you have your hookups. This way I was able to hide the receiver behind the dash you see no chords you see no receiver all you see is my new stereo in the dash so the Sirius receiver doesn't Mount anywhere it just goes behind the stereo in inside the dashboard which I thought was really awesome. Eliminating all the wiring love it. Hope this helps
