• I turned them on in the living room then walked back to our bedroom and then out into the garage and they worked just fine. When I walked too far away I got an occasional breakup.

• yes, bluetooth is good for about 30 feet.But it depends on what materials the walls are made up. Remember it is a RF signal after all
