• That is correct, no hub, but buy a different bulb. Mine died just after return elligability

• For this bulb, you do not need a bridge, it connects to the internet on it's own. It is a different brand. You will need a bridge if you want to add Hue bulbs down the line.

• You are correct in that you do not need a “bridge” like Phillips hue. You can contol the light with your google home mini alone and by using the google assistant app. Hope it helps!
