• You do not need a bridge. Every light connects to your wifi and Google Home on your phone detects them.

• No you do not. Just plug the Google mini into the wall and it will connect directly to your WiFi router. Then screw the bulb into your light and your Google home app on your phone or tablet will do the rest. Nothing else is needed.
