Generally switches are not that hard to change. Be sure to turn off breaker to turn off power. Then remove face plate, then pull switch out of the box. Take a picture of the switch and the wires for easy reconnect. Take the picture to Lowe's or Home Depot and go to the electrical area of the store. If you have trouble selecting the right switch ask for help. Connect wires to the new switch per the picture you took earlier.
